51/365 a decidedly good day

Today I woke up determined that I was going to have a good and productive day and that’s exactly what I did.

I did a few dishes, put them away, deep cleaned the bathroom and did laundry, made four quarts of chicken stock, decorated a little for fall and got my grocery pickup order. In the afternoon I got Jenna and we went to Old Navy and got her an outfit for her co-ops picture day. I also got myself a nice top to transition from summer to fall which I’m happy about. Then we got Chipotle and boba and I took Tripp some iced tea by the house he was working on on the way home.

Today was a complete 180 from yesterday and I’m glad I woke up with the mental clarity to decide what I wanted  to do and do it. Polly was fussy at points yet instead of letting it bother me I worked around it and held her and when it came time for her morning nap I chose to look at holding her as resting with her instead of being trapped and lazy. It really helped me. I’m really grateful for all that got dome and I’m hoping that this week continues to go well.

I had coffee apple crumble and diary free whipped topping for breakfast. It’s fall and I can do what I want. #noragrets

Chicken stock for days. I always buy organic so using leftover veggies and veggie scraps and chicken bones and doing this saves me a lot of money over time.

I used my spookiest aesthetically pleasing books to stack the pumpkin. I may get some garland and string it through for added fall vibes, but we’ll see. I like decorating for fall better than Christmas honestly.

Ended the day with tea that I needed up not really liking, but it smelled great.
