Does anyone actually know how to put their babies on a schedule? I just let Polly do her own thing, and basically put me on a schedule.
When she was a newborn I was focusing so hard on trying to survive and keep a tiny human alive that the idea of setting a schedule flew out the window like a bird sling-shotted into space. Now, almost ten months later, she put us on a schedule and it’s pretty neat.
7:30-8:00 wake up
9:00-10:00 first nap
12:00 eating
12:30 usually second nap time
4:00 eat and sleep
7:30 bath time
8:00 bedtime
It’s great! It works out, we’re all happy.

It was hotter than two suns today and Tripp was boiling peanuts so that meant the apartment was hot even though we had both ac’s running at once as low as they could go. Thank goodness we decided to go to town, grocery shopping and Sunday clothes shopping at Belk. If we hadn’t I think all three of us would have melted. Rain is coming next week and on the way into Rome Tripp commented on how dry it looked outside, so I’ll be glad for the ground to get some water and for it to cool down so we don’t all bake.
